Second: Use Quizzes And Comics
Quizzes are fun and interactive. Adding a Mingle2 quiz to your website will backlink to Mingle2.com. Mingle2 was the first site to really use quizzes, catapulting the site to number 1 on Google for "online dating". Comics are popular on the social web. They don't provide any statistics or other information but they are entertaining. Try to create or find comics to add humor without distracting from the main focus of your site.
Third: Write About Reviews and Trends
Sometimes adding good content is a way to get traffic to your site. Reviews are one way to accomplish this. Try reviewing something and creating related content that isn't available in other places. Or, readers always want to know about what is new so write about up and coming trends.
Fourth: Add A List To A Blog Post
Add a list and include some form of visual with each list. Switch it up a bit and instead of having a top ten list, have a top eleven one. The lists should be related to the type of content you have on your site. So if you website is about hair care products, you probably don't want to have a list devoted to pork chops.

How-to-guides are very successful for backlink building. Add images to give a visual for each step. Write content that explains each step or perhaps add a video.
